Does your brand need a refresh?

Have you toyed with the idea of a rebrand but haven’t pulled the trigger because you really don’t know if it would benefit your business or not. You probably feel like your brand is…fine.  It’s not really grabbing anyone’s attention, but truthfully you know it’s not really doing any heavy lifting to bring clients in either. Maybe it’s not an eyesore, but you’ll admit it’s a little dated. Maybe it’s sort of vanilla and pretty typical, but as far as you know it also doesn’t send anyone running for the hills. Maybe it’s generally acceptable, but you have an inkling that it doesn’t speak to anyone specific.

If that’s the case, you might not be ready for (or in need of) a full rebrand. A brand refresh might be exactly what you need to freshen up your look, make it feel more current, and speak more clearly to your specific ideal clients. Instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, it’s time to sit down and figure out what is working and build upon what you already have to make your brand that much better.

Here are some ways we can refresh your brand without starting from scratch.

  • Update your color palette and typography

Sometimes the simplest changes make the biggest impact. Is your color palette based on psychology or just whatever you like? Your colors should make your clients feel certain emotions and communicate your message just as well as your copy does.

  • Refresh your logo

A logo refresh doesn’t mean starting from scratch. It just means evolving your look so that it can step into the future. Think how good it feels when you get a fresh haircut. It doesn’t make you unrecognizable, just like a better version of yourself. Take a look at the style, colors, and fonts and see where you can freshen up your look to tailor it more to your ideal clients and be a more true reflection of your work.

  • Modernize your tagline (or create one if it’s nonexistent)

Does your tagline communicate what you do? Your tagline should feel genuine, creative, and specific all at the same time. It should work in tandem with your logo to communicate with your ideal clients.

  • Refresh your photography

You’ve probably invested in your project photography, but if you haven’t invested in brand photography, it goes a long way in creating a cohesive feel throughout your website.

If this sounds like something you’re looking for, then you’re in luck. Pop & Grey is offering limited-time brand refreshes in the month of January 2022! Typically we don’t offer any packages smaller than our $10,000 brand positioning and design, so if you’ve been wanting to work with us, but feel like you don’t need the full branding package, now is your chance, and it’s only happening in January so that you can start the new year off right.

The fine details

Please note that this is not a full brand package, and during our initial call we will make sure that your business is a good fit for a brand refresh, and only a limited number of projects will be accepted.

To be a good candidate for a brand refresh, you must have a clear understanding of who your ideal client is, what’s important to you to communicate with them about your business and know what your aesthetic style is. Ideal candidates also have a good starter brand, not something that they hate and want to completely scrap.

Brand refreshes must be booked by Jan. 10 for projects to begin between Jan. 10 and Jan. 31. The investment is $997, and the project timeline will be 2-4 weeks from your start date. That includes a 1-hr strategy call, brand workbook, Pinterest board, and a brand refresh action plan to begin. Project deliverables include an updated logo, secondary logo versions and submark, updated color palette, and brand typography suggestions.

Optional add-ons include brand patterns, tagline, email template, notecard, business card, social media templates, website design and copywriting. Some of these add-ons will require additional brand strategy foundational work, and all will be booked as separate projects after the brand refreshes are complete.
