This was a different kind of project for me, and I loved every second of it. When Mele approached me about designing a brand for her new greeting card line, she had no idea where to begin. We decided it was best to create a strong foundation for the brand and then create brand guidelines that would serve as guard rails for creating all of the greeting card designs so that they would be a cohesive unit. On top of the usual style guide I deliver to my clients, Mele’s included additional fonts and a secondary color palette to provide more variety in the card design so that they could be unique but still coordinate as a group. Mele was so easy to work with, and this happy brand never ceases to make me smile when it pops up on my screen.
